Hi, I’m Clare Wahrbichler, the founder and sole practitioner of Spark Occupational Therapy!
Since beginning my career as an Occupational Therapist in 2016, I have worked extensively in both the Aged Care and NDIS sectors. In 2022, I established Spark Occupational Therapy to offer a flexible, holistic, and community-based service designed to empower people, helping them rediscover their spark and achieve their goals.
I am passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and older adults, collaborating closely with their families, networks, and other health professionals. My work has spanned a diverse range of abilities and diagnoses, focusing on enhancing independence, achieving personal goals, and promoting overall well-being.
I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of South Australia and maintain full AHPRA registration, along with all necessary NDIS worker screening credentials to ensure top-quality, professional service.
My skill set includes:
Preparation of complex reports, such as:
Functional Capacity Assessments
Sensory Assessments
Living and Support Needs Assessments
Housing recommendation reports
Planning and implementing personalized intervention programs using best-practice approaches for individuals aged 18 to 99+ from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Assistive technology prescriptions to enhance independence and quality of life, including comphrensive trial, assessment and associated documentation.
Experience in working with adults who have physical, cognitive, or psychosocial challenges, complex presentations and co-morbidities.
Based in Adelaide’s western suburbs, I service most metropolitan areas and am available for rural visits upon request, subject to availability and individual arrangements.
